Melo's Wish is Granted

Sorry for the teasing headline haha it was the only thing I could think of. There is no breaking news, I just came up with a new trade after hearing the New Jersey deal is dead.

It was recomended by a couple of followers to make this a post. I know it's dumb to put one trade proposal in a post but I think this is the absolute best deal that the Nuggets could get. Here ya go.

Nuggets Send: Melo

Nuggets Recieve: Iguodala, Anthony Randolph, and Tony Douglas

New York Sends: Randolph, Curry, Douglas and Gallinari

New York Recieves: Melo

Philly Sends: Iguodala

Philly Recieves: Curry and Gallinari.

Now, Denver does this deal because they Iggy who will spell most of Melo's offensive production with Harrington making up the rest and keeping Denver in contention for the playoffs. Douglas is a nice young prospect with a year left on his deal and could be a nice player off the bench. Randolph is the future PF for the Nuggets. The only thing with this deal is it leaves the Nuggets with 3 to 4 SG's in Iggy, JR, Douglas and AAA. It would be better if Iggy could play SF but that is up to GK. This also gives Denver great flexibility in dealing JR.

New York does this deal to get Melo a year earlier than they planned. This deal enables New York to compete this year and it gives them one more year for Melo and Amare to build up some chemistry. Also, Melo should for sure sign off on the deal.

Philly does this deal because they get a nice expiring contract in Curry, and a nice small forward in Gallinari. This enables Turner to start at the 2 and also give him a great complimenting SF in Gallinari who is a lengthy sharp shooter. With Turner being more of a penetrating guard who creates for himself, Philly is in need of a wing scorer and Gallinari fits that role perfectly. This rids Philly of Iguodala's 4 year contract.

That's what I got. Let me know what you guys think.
