I've said it before last month and I'll say it again. Melo controls his own destiny and will not go anywhere except to the Knicks. The Nugs will have to take Randolph/Gallinari, Walker, Fields,Curry and a 1st rounder from another unnamed team. If they don't take it, melo leaves at the end of the year w/nothing to show but bitter feelings and boos throughout the year. All these trade proposals are for not. They should try and work with NY and see what they can do to help and bring more picks or other talent to Denver, instead of looking at other teams. Denver had better understand that if its not to NY, than their wasting their time. If you just listen to Melo and his statements about NY, you realize that he only wants to play there. He will not go to NJ because it's a dump and lots of empty seats. He's already spoken to former and current players/friends who have given him thumbs down on Jersey. A lot of people on this site seem to blow off the NY request as media or small talk and stilll talk about who the Nuggets should target with other teams. Get real and lets focus on Ny and see what we can get from them and other teams willing to do a 3 or 4 team trade. But this has to start with either Gallinari or Randolph, Fields, Walker and Curry's expiring contract. If Denver doesn't attempt to trade with NY than he will wait out the season and go for free. And the Knicks know this too and are wiling to wait out this scenario. So Nuggets front office, the ball is in your court. Go and attack the Knicks and see what you can get and stop wasting your time with other teams.
