If all indications are David Griffin will be the next general manager f the Denver Nuggets, then what are the Denver Nuggets waiting for?

How great is Masai Ujiri's relationship with his former employers? I am asking because I saw his name connected as a possibility to become the next general manager as well.

The Nuggets need a general manager immediately in light of what is going on with Carmelo Anthony, etc. Everything I'm reading points to David Griffin being the next general manager of the Nuggets.

Any insight on the timeline?
