In hopefully a promising sign of things to come, Ty Lawson has been absolutely ruthless in all three of his summer league games, improving each game he's played in.

His efficiency is an astounding + 23.00, and he's averaging 19.0 ppg and 6.3 ast. In three games, he's had just 6 turnovers, or an assist to turnover ratio of 3.1, which is incredibly good (even in a small sample size like this). His PPG has improved every game and he had 5 steals most recently vs the Knicks.

His shooting is also very efficient, shooting 50% or better in every game, without overshooting the 3 ball.

I understand that this is summer league scrubs, but when your team is winning games by an average of 15.3 ppg, I think it can be said that you have some pretty damn good talent. If Ty is able to carry over this type of play to the regular season and can stay healthy, Denver is going to be a threat to anyone.

In the next 2-4 years I think Ty Lawson will be a top PG in the NBA, particularly if he gets the appropriate pieces around him.

Good news, Nuggets fans: we've found our starting PG for the next 6-7 seasons at least.
