Make a serious run at Al Harrington.  He is the only legit big man left out there and I think Denver could snag him with the full MLE.

Hoopsworld did a nice piece on how Harrington is mulling over several teams and their offers with Orlando being teh only team they mentioned.  Harrington was quoted in saying he now wants to play for a contender and play for a ring.  He averaged 17.5 points and 6 or 7 rebounds a game last year.  He could be an ideal replacement at PF for Kenyon while being out and help provide some much needed post scoring.

I know a lot of you guys hate Harrington and the idea, but if the man is mature enough to focus on a ring and doing what it takes to win it, I will surely take it.

I can tell you the Nuggets signing a guy that averaged 17 points a game last season will catch Melo's eyes a hell of a lot more than Lou Almundson.  If we could get Harrington for the MLE and Almundson for the BYE I would be satisfied with the offseason.

Also I know this shoudl be on the FA thread, I'm just cranky about jury duty tomorrow haha and really want the Nuggets to do this and I feel Harringotn is the only FA big man left that could legitly start and contribute to this team in a serious way.
