Ok, there's been lots of talk recently about Wark and our current front office and with the firing of Kevin Pritchard I think it would be of our best interest to let Wark and his buddies go and hire Pritchard, immediately!!!
This is nothing against Wark as he's done a very fine job while in Denver. But Pritchard is a very unique brand of GM, the type every fan dreams of. Here are a list of moves Pritchard was involved with while serving as GM of our division rival Portland Trailblazers(from Wikipedia and doesn't even include signing Camby or Miller):
As you can see the guy is extremely good at what he does. When you look at where the Trailblazers were before he arrived to where they are now, his moves are basically unrivaled. He's built a team every sports fan desires. A young core of extremely talented players that can potentially challenge for a title every year. The bottom line is Pritchard has an incredible eye for talent (as shown through his drafting skills) and isn't afraid to make moves. In fact he's one of the most active GMs in the league, if not the most active. I bet Pritchard would love to sign with us having such a great team already to work with and could build an even more talented team that would convince Melo stay, and have us challenging for the Lakers once again in the near future. Plus the expirings of K-Mart and JR would have any GM salivating at the mouth, especially a guy like Pritchard. And how sweet would it be to "Pritch-slap" our division rivals, and his former team for years to come, and constantly rub in their face whay they could have had?
