Let's look at who we could get at the deadline or maybe this FA pool.
1.Jason Maxiell-- I know that Jason Maxiell wouldn't help us with the height disparity in the frontcourt but Max would give us the hard-nosed defense, physicality, and rebounding.
2.Tyrus Thomas-- We all know what Tyrus Thomas brings to the table. Athleticism, Shot-Blocking, Rebounding, some offense and the hustle. Maybe Earl Smith could do the trick when 'Cats try to re-sign him. They are in bad need of scoring off the bench.
3.Al Jefferson-- He has good post offense, good rebounder, and somewhat good help defender. His post game will help Afflalo, Smith, Billups and Melo on the perimeter as most teams tend to double him.
4. Darko Milicic-- Maybe some of you are thinking that Milicic would do us more harm than good. But, Darko could block shots, has the height and the size to battle other bigs and he's cheap.
5. Brad Miller-- A veteran center in the league. He could provide scoring off the bench, quite decent rebounder, and he could stretch the D with his 3 point shot. Maybe the MLE could be the key to signing Brad Miller.
6. Amir Johnson-- AJ brings exactly the things that Tyrus Thomas brings to the team. If the Raptors tend to sign him, we could trade the Hunter TE for him and the Raptors save some $.
7. Taj Gibson.-- Just in case that the Bullsare in a major salary dump mode, we could get him for cheap. Maybe Earl Smith and the Hunter TE for Taj would be a steal. Good rebounder and a decent power forward.
8. Jason Thompson-- He's young, oozes athleticism, and a decent player. He could play the 4 or the 5. He rebounds the ball well. A good help defender and has a good post game.
9. Carl Landry-- He eats rebounds, very physical but has a good mid range game, good shotblocker.
10. Chris Wilcox-- The Pistons are maybe rebuilding their team around a young core so maybe we could get Chris Wilcox. He's a good shotblocker, good rebounder and also has some bunnies.
