Where's the Defense?

Amidst all the complaints about the offense, the bigger question, in my opinion, is WHERE IS THE DEFENSE? We harp on players for being selfish on the offensive end, but yet there is very little mention of the fact that this team has absolutely no pride on the other end of the floor. For those who haven't noticed already, the Jazz have yet to be held under 100 points at all in this series, and have only shot below 50% once, in Game 3 which was probably skewered by the 4th quarter in which the game was already decided.

So, using our astute powers of observation, let's count up a few things:

How many times have we seen...

A Utah player go backdoor for an easy layup? Or for that matter, a Utah player getting an easy, uncontested layup to begin with?

Deron Williams get into the lane for easy dribble penetration?

A Utah player get a wide open shot off of plain stupidity/laziness?

Our "big men" get bullied by the smaller Utah big men?

Chris Andersen fall for yet ANOTHER pump fake?

Weak fouls leading to 3-point plays?

Slapping at the ball instead of moving the feet?

Perhaps if this team put a little more attention to detail, we may not be in this predicament. So how's about it Nuggets? You guys willing to give a crap on this end of the floor, at least for another game? Who knows? Maybe it'll make the game a whole lot easier.
