What can you tell about Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf?

I'm doing a little research on some of the rookie PGs out there and Mahmoud's been coming up as an interesting player comp for some of them. Unfortunately I don't remember him at all, so I'm curious if anybody else could give me a quick scouting report on him - what his style of play was, strengths of his game, weaknesses. Did he improve over time or not? Did he make his teammates better? Were y'all sad when he left?
