Short Rant

Long-time Denver Rocket and Nugget fan and often times sufferer here. Was living in Seattle in the 90's and witnessed game 5 against the Sonics in person in 1994. Had one Sonic fan hit me with her sign on the way out of the building because I was up cheering for the Nugs victory. Little did I know that that win, by the youngest team in the NBA at the time, would be the last playoff series victory until last season's magical run.

So, I love this team. But I also hate this team. And I can't think of a time when they've pissed me off as much as they are doing right now. To me, it is so simple that it is painful. Play team ball, beat the crap out of most other teams in the league. Don't play team ball, lose. I am so sick and tired of watching Melo go one-on-one while 4 other guys stand and watch time after time down the floor that I just can't handle it any more.

When George announced his new battle with cancer I had thought it would have a positive impact on the way this team played basketball. I was wrong. Not only do they not listen to Karl. They don't even have the decency to play team ball to help him in his bout with cancer. The wake up call happened. The team just hit snooze again. Play defense. Pass the fricken ball. Move without it. Hit the boards. Sheesh!
