If/When Big Z gets his buyout in Washington, do you see the Nuggets inquiring about him? Who should Denver target out of potential buyouts?

What's up, Nate?

The Nuggets will absolutely make contact with any big who can play that gets bought out. Z is one of those guys. Drew Gooden is another possibility. The challenge will involve trying to get one of those guys to actually sign. From what I'm hearing, Z likely goes back to Cleveland and there's a decent chance Gooden goes back to Dallas.

If the Nuggets could land Z that would be a very nice move. While he's not that athletic, his size and length is exactly what Denver needs. Don't think it will happen, though.

Wouldn't surprise me if Denver didn't get another player who can really contribute. Not what Nugs' fans want to hear, but I think there's a decent possibility that's how it will play out. It won't be for lack of effort on the front office's part, though.
