I am completely over the Melodrama.  It's time for a little prognostication.

We've now got an on the record quote from Ujiri that Melo is on the block. We've got multiple quote from Melo that he is signing the extension once traded, so concerns about that holding up the deal are no longer an issue either.Multiple "reports" have also said that a trade is likely to occur sooner rather than later. 

I'm so over the current team that, despite commenting on the pregame post, I completely forgot there was a game saturday until it was nearly over.  I recorded the rerun on altitude, but deleted it out of lack of interest. I won't have much interest in this team until the situation is resolved.

I propose a Melo trade pool, with the winner to receive, well nothing.  If the winner wants to drive up to Winter Park, I'll meet them and buy them a beer.  We start with the team and the day of the trade.  The trade deadline is February 24th, I believe.  Please also include the terms, for tie breaking purposes if people select the same day and team.  Predicting after the season sign and trades is also a possibility.

I'll get things rolling with:  NJ Nets, December 31st, Favors, Murphy, 3 #1's, and Batum from portland.  Might have to throw in an additional asset to get Batum.
