If so, then why not do something like this?
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=28hhaod
A three-way trade with New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Nuggets get: Derrick Favors, Andre Iguodala, Marreese Speights.
Nets get: Carmelo Anthony, Renaldo Balkman.
Philadelphia gets: Troy Murphy, Shelden Williams.
Denver finally gets rid of Melo, inevitably parting with Balkman and Williams to even out the numbers, while gaining young prospect Favors and a solid scorer in Iggy along with Mareese Speights (don't know too much about him? but he has put up solid numbers in the past) who can be a decent C allowing Nene to play his natural 4 spot. Then there's the picks that NJ just recently picked up.
New Jersey finally gets Melo.
Philly dumps Iggy's contract while gaining a big fat expiring in Troy Murphy, perhaps also getting one of the 1st rounders picked up by NJ to make it more alluring. This one is a legit salary dump. But the pick could help them build for the future as they mould their team around Evan Turner.
What you guys reckon?
