Figures my first post would be a proposed trade. If this has already been suggested my apologies. Here it is...

NJ gets Carmelo Anthony and Andre Miller (still effective veteran stand-in who has played with Melo, also has one less year of salary than Harris).

Portland gets Devin Harris (Harris provides a young upgrade at the point guard position, Nicolas Batum is talented but has lost minutes to Wes Matthews, who they have invested big $$ in).

Denver gets Batum, Derrick Favors and Murphy (2 promising young players plus cap relief).

Obviously NJ may balk depending on the rumor-of-the-day if Melo won't extend with them. First rounders from NJ will also likely be in play, but Denver may need to allow one to go to Portland to move Batum.
