G Arron Afflalo said he wants to remain with the Nuggets for the long term. Denver has until Oct. 31 to sign Afflalo to a contract extension that would kick in for 2011-12. If one isn't signed, Afflalo becomes a restricted free agent next summer.

"I just love it here," said Afflalo saying "of course" he's open to signing a contract that would keep him long-term in Denver.

C Chris Andersen, nicknamed "The Birdman," already has tattoos covering his body. He got a very noticeable one over the summer that covers his entire neck and reads, "Free Bird."

Andersen said it represents having broken off his engagement after three years.

"I'm a free bird," he said.
