haha,
It seems everyone is quiet over here. Good reason its a depressing run up to the basketball season.
but even though this is shaping out to be an awful year im still a diehard Nugs fan. And since basketball news is coming slow right now, ill just make my own hypotheticals up.
So im trying out a Chi-Den-LAC 3-way trade
Den
Trades: Melo, 2nd
Receives : Chris Kaman, Taj Gibson, Aminu, James Johnson (and the rights to swap 1sts with LAC)
Chi
Trade: Deng, Gibson, Omar Asik and James Johnson, 1st
Receives: Carmelo Anthony, and a Den 2nd.
LAC
Trade: Chris Kaman, Aminu (the rights to swap 1st with Den)
Receives: Deng, Omar Asik and a Chi 1st.
LAC - Deng would be a great athletic, defensive complement between Blake Griffen and Eric Gordan, the cost of Kaman is a bit high but the offset 1st would make that easier to swallow even if a Rose, Noah, Melo team is never in the lottory
Den - Gets a C in Kaman, can move Nene to PF, gets a nice PF prospect in Taj, making it easier to move Kenyon at the deadline, and gets 2 young SF prospects one a scorer and one an athletic def type.
Chi - gets melo and forms their own big 3 (4 if you count boozer), the price isnt cheap but getting a superstar isnt supposed to be cheap.
