Here is my research of the big men who I think are targetable

I used basketball-reference's Player season finder, and set the criteria like this, with my rankings primarily based on PER, but also on personal opinion. I set the minutes to 20, as that would be the maxinum another big would get in this rotation

As usual, all the good players 6'9" and over were at the top, but what stunned me was Marreese Speights at 11 and Nazr Mohammed at 14. Speights is 6'10" and 245 pounds, and is a C/PF combo. The Nuggets should inquire if he's available, as his stats of 12 ppg and 5 rpg are very good for only around 20 minutes per game. Nazr Mohammed is a veteran who commits to playing D, which could get him a good 15-20 minutes in Karl's rotation just because of that. This year seems to be an anomaly, and he's pretty expensive if I remember.

That, up there, is Marreese Speights. (via 3.bp.blogspot.com)

Another veteran who could be got is Rasho Nesterovic. I know that he is pretty much a wash, but he can still hit the 15-footer (and he does it way better than Malik Allen), and his rebound rate is only a bit lower than Al Jefferson's. However, if we were going to get a guy like him or Nazr, I'd want to give up nothing beside scrubs.

We all know how good of a player Anthony Randolph is/could be, but the Warriors management won't trade him away unless Maggette gets traded too. This pretty much makes him untradeble unless we trade JR.

We could also look at Yi Jianlian. Prior to his stinker yesteraday against the Hornets, he scored double digits for every game since returning from injury, with a 20.3 ppg average with around 7 rebounds. I know that he plays for the Nyets, but he, by far, produces the most out of all the players listed here.

I have chosen not to list Brendan Haywood, as the Wizards are going to want something good in return for their starting center that gets 10 ppg with 10 rpg a game...
