But here's my message to all the people who think that Johan Petro should get rotation minutes:
Petro just isn't a good basketball player. He is 7 feet tall, but doesn't really have much going for him. His hands are terrible, he's too skinny, he bricks 5-footers as well as Drazen Petrovic made three-pointers, and, well, he can't catch a damn pass to save his life.
Also, his big man teammates during his stretch in Seattle/OKC ranged from below average to "holy crap, how is that dude in the NBA?" His big-man partners were Nick Collison, Robert Swift, Chris Wilcox, and Vitaly Potapenko (you know, the guy selected one spot ahead of Bean Bryant). Also, during that time, Petro shot around 45% from the field, 66% from the line, and had a turnover rate of 14%, which is even worse than Hassan Adams' rate (don't know him? There's a good reason why...he sucks).
