All this talk about getting Chris Bosh got me thinking... We really do not need a all-star caliber big man to compete this year with the Lakers. K-Mart and Nene are doing (especially Martin) a really good job with the majority of the minutes. I think Birdman might be getting burned out playing 30 mins a game and I think he's more effective (and longer lasting) when he's at 20 mins per game. With those excess 10 mins I think we should give them to someone we have already on the roster... Johan Petro. Johan came from the Oklahoma City Thunder where he played a reserve role there. If I remember correctly he was pretty decent. We do not really need another scorer on this team, we just need someone to bang around the bigs on the other team and pick up rebounds and set screens and picks. A firesale of our bench in the middle of the season (Jr Smith and Birdman) for a star big might end up hurting us now...
