With the signing of Affalo, this probably can't/won't happen but it was clear that he gave The Black Mamba all he could handle in the playoffs last year. If you read the posts out there, Kobe is the so-called Nuggets Killer and Battier could help in that arena. There are things about him that might not make this a great deal - he's 31, he's a Dukie and he is used to starter minutes; but, his versatility (playing the 2-3), he's hard worker, a good defender, and he's veteran - all of which give him many attributes that could really help the Nuggets out.
