I know I have written a lot of these kinda posts but this has been a long and boring offseason...
So im going to put who we should target....
Well apparently stephen Jackson wants out of Golden State.....
(Source http://dimemag.com/2009/08/breaking-...te/#more-18251)
Also golden state also wants curry and monta to play together so they need to clear space in the backcourt, and they have another similar player in maggette
He has a rather large contract, but under 8 mil this year so we could use our TPE...

but that would result in to many players i think
Another idea i thought about would be K Mart for Stephen Jackson, Ronny Turiaf, and Brendan Wright or Acie Law
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nt6ghg
I know you would think why trade K Mart for a SG/SF.... well we could actually start turiaf at center and play nene at pf...
MAybe give turiaf like 25 min. then either an extra 5 min to birdman or balkman or even petro
Then it gives us more flexibility
Our Lineup would be like
PG- Billups (32) Lawson (16) AC *AC might take more min
SG- Jackson (18) JR (30) AA
SF- Melo (34) Jacson (14)
PF- Nene (22) Balkman (16) Birdman(10) Allen
C- Turiaf (26) Nene (10) Birdman (12)
the most likely option would involve us not getting JAX, but helping him get to houston( which hes from and said he wanted to go there)
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=nt6ghg
the trade involves
JAX and 6.9 TPE from Denver to Houston
Battier to Denver
Lowry to GSW
It actually improves GSW and DEN in the Trade Machine but cuz T MAc and Yao are injure the machine counts them as playing so it would actually improve Houston too
People say we need another big ... but if we have such good perimeter players we could do a lot of damage
Jackson is really well rounded player, and its another 20+ scorer for Kobe to cover....
Or Battier is player who is proven to b the best player at covering kobe in the league
