Q-Rich traded for 4th time this offseason

At this point ... things are past comedic for Quentin Richardson. He has been traded for the fourth time this offseason, this time to the Miami Heat for former Nugget center Mark Blount.

Read about it here.

Luckily for Q, Miami seems excited to have him as he and D-Wade are workout buddies. But we've heard from an executive before that Q was coming in to help out ...

"I felt we needed to start addressing some of the roster imbalances that were created as part of the Wizards trade and this is a step toward that," (Minnesota GM David) Kahn said.

Now we get this from Heat president Pat Riley ...

"We are very excited to add Quentin Richardson," Heat president Pat Riley said. "Over the course of his career, he has proven to be a fierce competitor, a great locker room presence and a very prolific 3-point shooter who may be one of the strongest perimeter players in the NBA. We feel that he will be able to match-up well against the top scorers in the league."

Will this be the last stop for Q? Well, it's only mid-August ... there are still over two months before the season starts.

Richardson's stops so far:

June 25, 2009: Q-Rich traded on draft night from the New York Knicks to the Memphis Grizzlies for Darko Milicic.

July 2, 2009: Q-Rich traded by the Grizzlies to the Los Angeles Clippers for Zach Randolph.

July 21, 2009: Q-Rich traded by the Clippers to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Sebastian Telfair, Mark Madsen, and Craig Smith.

August 14, 2009: Q-Rich traded by the T-Wolves to the Miami Heat for Mark Blount.
