Game 3 Thoughts

The Denver Nuggets lost today in New Orleans 95 to 93.

Let's face it, they played absolutely terrible, and still, we only lost by 2 points, and even got a chance to win it 2 times, one with a jumper by Melo and the other one with a desperation half-court shot which was pretty close to finish going through the rim also by him.

I'm going to bring you some reasons for not being afraid.

-Nene played probably his worst game of the year. It is not likely for him to play this bad on Monday, and I bet he will get at least a 10-10. If this happens, the Nuggets' chances for winning Game 4 are a lot bigger than they were today with 20 seconds left on the game, because I don't think the game will be this close with Nene playing as his standard level.

-The Nuggets were just 24-35 from the FT line, which makes a 68.6%. Horrible FT percentage, which is (again) not likely to repeat on Monday.

-CB missed 2 FT's (breaking his streak) and Melo missed 4 out of 8... If you put their normal average into the scoreboard, the Nuggets win this one.

-The Birdman didn't block any shot today. Guess what? Not likely to repeat again Monday...

-The Nuggets will come Monday fired up after the Hornets' come back today, so that should give them a good edge.

For all of you that are sort of afraid, I hope this numbers give you some optimism,

Be not afraid, NuggetsNation, though be not too confident neither.
