Come playoff time!

I am a life long Laker fan but I thought I'd throw this out your way. From what I've seen this season there are only two teams in the west that are serious contenders to make it to the NBA finals. The Lakers and the Nuggets. Dallas is having a good season but I don't see them getting past either of us. I really think home court advantage will be huge when the Nuggets and Lakers meet. That being said. When one of us gets to the finals, how do we stack up against the east. I think the only east contenders will be Orlando and Boston with an outside chance the Hawks will be there.  First the Lakers. The Lakers need to play inside out basketball. They are a horrible three point shooting team. They need to play consistant defense to have a chance. Boston stands a better chance with the addition of Wallace. They match up better legnth wise. 2nd the Nuggets. Denver is a scoring machine much like Orlando. Now I would like your honest thoughts if the Nuggets make the finals as to how they would match up against the Celtics and Magic. After all if the Lakers don't make it I will be rooting for the west!
