Melo as a 2/3?

Denver needs more size to beat the lakers, so how hard would it be to play melo at the SG sometimes? If we ever acquired a true center the line up could be as follows when we want to go big:

1- chauncey, with Ty and AC
2-JR or AA, with melo in the rotation too
3- Melo, with Joey Ghram and Nene and Kmart all in the rotation
4-Nene/Martin, with bird in the rotation also
5- New center, Nene, and bird

Not quite sure how this would work, but I dont see why 1 guard, 3 forwards and a center couldn't compete/ dominate the lakers and the other over sized NBA teams we seem to struggle with.
