I know that this stuff shouldn't really go into a fanpost, but if he is out for more than a week, I'm going to be worried. We already are missing J.R. Smith for the first seven games, and although George Karl will probably glue Balkman to the bench anyways, it's still a bad thing to see. Also, has Rob Kurz been signed yet? He reminds me of Kleiza with the way he can stroke the three but also be inconsistent.

Update: It appears as if Balkman will be fine. Kurz is still unsigned.
