Joey Graham feature ...

A pretty good read on the Nuggets new revamped website about Joey Graham by former Rocky Mountain News reporter Aaron Lopez. Give it a read by clicking here.

A snipet:

Allen Iverson, Yakhouba Diawara, J.R. Smith and Voshon Lenard.

In descending chronological order, those are the four guys who have started at shooting guard for the Nuggets on opening night over the past four seasons.

Because Smith will miss the first seven games of 2009-10 due to a suspension, another name will be added to the list when the Nuggets open the season Oct. 28 against the Utah Jazz at Pepsi Center.

It only seems fitting considering at least a half-dozen other players have started at shooting guard for Denver since 2002-03. They include two Earls (Boykins and Watson), Steve Blake, Greg Buckner, Dahntay Jones and Wesley Person.

"I think in all my seven years that I’ve been here, that two-guard position has always been up and down," Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony said. "You never know who’s going to be in that two-guard position each night."
