Let's make a deal?

It's safe to say that Johan Petro is not really going to help out this season as a part of the regular rotation. There isn't any part of me that wants to see him get off the bench for any other reason than to:

  1. Scoot down a chair or two to make room for his teammates
  2. Cheer on his teammates

I also don't think there was anybody who expected anything else out of Petro.

Trade rumors swirled around this team plenty the last few weeks. It was revealed that Denver was close to dealing for David Lee of the New York Knicks, but George Karl persuaded management to keep Linas Kleiza (who was rumored to be the trading chip in said deal).

Denver has dealt away pretty much every trade piece they had going in to the season.

  • Marcus Camby
  • Cheikh Samb
  • Chucky Atkins
  • 2009 1st Round Pick

But Denver still has Steven Hunter's expiring contract as well as Linas Kleiza, who has probably rekindled some interest with his recent play.

The question is being posed around local talk radio and it's on my mind. And I'm sure if you care about this team then trade talk has entered into some of your conversations (whether you are talking to a buddy or just talking to yourself ... I don't recommend talking to yourself too much out loud though ... I usually get a lot of odd looks when doing so).

So my question to you is simple ... considering where the Nuggets currently stand this season, should they make another trade?

Be reasonable and offer up some players you'd like to see brought in, but also consider the cost to the Nuggets current roster.
