Now that it seems unlikely that Dyess will play a single game in Denver.  With Juwan Howard waived, the Nuggets either need to have Cheikh Samb immediately a part of the rotation with Nene/Andersen, or they need to look into shoring up the C/PF position asap.  I was really looking forward to seeing Dyess play alongside Nene and Kenyon, but it looks like we'll never see that now.  He's pretty firmly stated that he would rather retire at this point in his career than come together.  While a little insulting, I can understand - at his age, I wouldn't want to have to pull up roots and start over again in another city, despite having played there before.

Rebounding is KILLING us this year.  Our defense would be much improved if Nene and Andersen could average 10 boards a game.
